What the team announced
The team's own release sets out the deal in a few lines. BK8 News becomes a Global Partner, its wordmark goes on the AMR26's rear-wing endplate, and it gets an onboard presence on the car. To mark the start, the team added extra BK8 News branding on the car's fin for the race weekend of the announcement.
The release describes BK8 News as "a global sports news and entertainment platform" that wants to bring fans closer to the sports they follow. The partnership covers marketing and audience engagement, with the aim of giving fans "greater access to the team" through the 2027 Formula One season and beyond. The team's commercial and marketing managing director said Formula One connects brands with passionate audiences around the world. The managing director of BK8 News called the deal another step in the brand's growth.
Where it fits in the BK8 register
This is the first Formula One deal in our register. Until now the brand's motorsport presence has been in MotoGP, where BK8 News has held Gresini Racing's title sponsorship since 2025. In badminton, the BWF Major Championships carry BK8 as betting partner until the end of 2026. Football, where the brand first became widely known, has had no current BK8 deal on record since its single season on Aston Villa's shirt ended in 2024. The Formula One deal is also the first with a stated term running past 2026. Both of the other current deals were announced for terms that end this year. That makes Aston Martin Aramco, for now, the BK8 name's longest confirmed commitment in sport.
BK8 News is not BK8.io
The two names are close, and readers often mix them up. BK8.io is the crypto casino and sportsbook. BK8 News is a sports media brand. The Gresini Racing title sponsorship, the Thomas & Uber Cup presenting role and now the Aston Martin Aramco deal were all announced under the BK8 News name. The branding on the car is the BK8 News wordmark, not a BK8.io logo.
What is still open

As of 20 October 2026, this partnership rests on the team's announcement alone. We found no matching release from BK8 or BK8 News. The team's text is clear on the branding and the "2027 season and beyond" timeframe, but it gives no contract length or value. We will update this report if either side publishes more.
Two practical points follow. First, the deal does not bring any Formula One betting feature to BK8.io that we can confirm. Nothing in the announcement mentions the platform, and it would be wrong to read one into it. Second, a Global Partner deal is a brand placement, not an endorsement of a gambling product by the team.
