Privacy on the BK8.io Ledger

What we collect

When you load a page, the server that hosts this site receives the standard information every web request carries: your IP address, the page you asked for, the time, your browser type and the page that referred you. Our hosting provider keeps these logs for a short period to keep the site running and to block abuse. We do not combine them with any other data, and we do not use them to identify you.

The page also loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers. Google's own privacy policy covers that request.

What we do not collect

• We do not set cookies for tracking or advertising.
• We do not run analytics that build a profile of you.
• We do not ask for, store or see any BK8.io account details, wallet keys or identity documents. Never send these to anyone who claims to represent this site.
• The address check, the seed hash check and the rebate calculator process what you type inside your own browser. Nothing is uploaded.

Emails you send us

If you email the editorial desk, for example to report an error, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply and to fix the page concerned, and we delete the message once the matter is closed. We do not add you to any mailing list.

Links to bk8.io and other sites

Buttons marked with an 18+ note open bk8.io in a new tab. From that point, BK8.io's own privacy policy applies, and BK8.io decides what it collects, including the identity documents its verification process may ask for. Links to news sources and regulators work the same way: each site has its own policy, and we have no control over it.

Your choices and changes to this policy

Because we hold no account data, there is usually nothing for us to show you, change or delete. If you have emailed us and want that message deleted sooner, ask and we will do it. If this policy changes, for example because we add analytics, we will update this page and its date before the change takes effect.
